Emotions….

The question is not wether or not we have them but rather what we do with them.

Emotional intelligence has been defined as many things, “people skills”, “communication skills” and “soft skills”. Let’s get one thing straight, there is nothing “soft” about them. These are a tangible set of fifteen competencies that allow you to identify, express and manage emotional information in yourself and others and focus energy on required behaviours.

These skills affect our performance, our well being and our emotional and social functioning, which in turn, make us better leaders, team members, friends, spouses, parents, people. It’s also one the most important predictors of success both personally and professionally.

Emotional Intelligence Testing

There are fifteen different emotional intelligence competencies. Identify and understand each areas of strength and your potential areas of improvement using a world leading emotional intelligence assessment tool. The Emotional Quotient inventory (EQ-i 2.0), a Level B Psychometric assessment, is based on the research of Dr. Reuven Bar-On, and published by Multi-Health Systems Inc (MHS). As a level B psychometric test it be administered by a certified practitioner.


EQi 2.0

The EQ-i 2.0 is a self-rater assessment tool, delivered securely online that takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Once completed, we will review your results together, explore areas of interest to you and identify strategies to improve the competencies you’d like to focus on. The EQ-i 2.0 test is accompanied by a meeting/call to review the results and is followed by a minimum of two subsequent coaching sessions to insure you are on track and supported. The EQ-i 2.0, testing, report and coaching is available in both French and English.


EQi 360

The EQ-i 360 is a unique opportunity to gain insight not only on how you see yourself but also the perception of others have of you. Managers, peers, employees, family/friends and others are utilized to give you a well rounded look at how you present in the world. Just like the EQ-i 2.0, the 360 is also securely delivered online and measures the same fifteen competencies. It then combines your results with other participants (who you select) to produce a report comparing all the results. This type of testing is referred to as a multi-rater assessment. The EQ 360 is accompanied by a meeting/call to review the results from your personal assessment, a second meeting/call to review the 360 report, and these are followed by a minimum of two subsequent coaching sessions to insure you are on track and supported. The EQ-i 360, testing and coaching is available in both French and English.

The leadership report

For both the EQ-i 2.0 and the EQ 360 participants have the option of adding the Leadership component to the report. The Leadership Report examines results through four key dimensions: Authenticity, Coaching, Insight, and Innovation. This report contains insights on the possible implications of results, and which skills have the highest potential of becoming leadership derailers. Strategies for development will be provided with the aim to attain true leadership potential, while being able to compare results against top leaders as a benchmark.
